I just witness one of the greatest moments in Olympic history.  Michael Phelps just won his eighth gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.  Seriously, 8 gold medals!!! I stayed up late at night for the past week to see each and every one of his amazing gold medal world breaking feats and I do not care that blacks rings have developed underneath my eyes, it was worth it.

If you read my last post about lucky no. 8, Michael Phelps is most definitely the luckiest man at the Olympics right now.  Equaling Mark Spitz’s 7 gold medals and now winning 8 gold medals at the 2008 Olympics that began on 08.08.08.  Wow, is the only word needed to be said about this guy. Congratulations.
