Last week I was fortunate enough to second shoot a wedding with my photographer friend, Troy, in Coupland, TX. Coupland was a small town with lots of character. Everybody seems to know each other and everyone was very kind and inviting. The wedding was held in Coupland’s only church, St. Peter’s Church of Coupland. The church is over 100 years old and has beautiful stained glass windows. The one element that I was so intrigued with was an ornate chandelier that hanged in the middle of the church. I have not seen a chandelier quite like this one and was just mesmerized by it. The chandelier, of course, added to the beautiful ceremony that even the wild wind blowing that day couldn’t take away.
Honey & Matt were fun to shoot, they were just carefree and laid back. The ceremony was very simple and the reception was very casual where guest were treated to wedding cake and ice cream. I was hoping to partake in some of the cake and ice cream, but thought that I should behave, lol. Anyhow I wish Honey & Matt the best and I thank you guys for letting me share in your special day.
I especially have to thank Troy for letting me tag along. I definitely learned a lot and had fun. So please do head over to Troy’s blog to see more pictures of this beautiful day. Enjoy and take care.

don’t you love the details in the chandelier…

I like the reflections of the groomsmen in Matt’s glasses.

really like the rim lighting in this picture.
